Wilderness First Aid & Emergency Care

Superior EMS is pleased to offer a 4-day comprehensive wilderness first aid and emergency care program for those who will be in the wilderness environment. This course focuses on delivering emergency care in remote and challenging environments where hospitals and emergency medical services may not be available for an extensive period of time.

 

This course will be delivered both in-classroom as well as in the field to ensure you gain the theory and practical experience to save a life in remote environments.

 

Course includes all materials including a 400+ page resource book, and 3 year certification.

 

*Certification includes Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED to meet WSIB standards for workplace application!

Course Includes:

  • 4 Days of expert instruction from wilderness medical responders and medical professionals. 

  • 400+ page wilderness first aid textbook

  • Supply pack for simulation experience including advanced wound care supplies

  • 3 Year Certification (including Standard First Aid for workplace purposes)

  • Approximately 50% of the course will be delivered in the field
